CALL #1 "What Seek Ye?"
Peter’s personal conversion during his first interaction with Jesus Christ. A call out of darkness into marvelous light, as Peter first gains a testimony of John, and then of Christ as He manifests himself to Peter
CALL #2 "Follow Me!"
The call by which Peter (who is already converted & willing) is invited to put himself into closer relationship with his Lord. Peter answers the call --and gives his allegiance (though not yet manifest) by following the Master in devout devotion.
CALL #3 "Come!"
Peter is given the chance to prove his Faith. Though many criticize him for failing we should praise him for trying! (The other 11 stayed in the boat)
CALL #4 "Do You Love me?"
The Savior gives only to a few whom he has picked out and chosen to do some special work, who shall have fellowship with him more closely still, and become captains in the ranks of “The sacramental host of God’s elect.”
